Bowne Park is an 11.79-acre park located east of downtown Flushing in Broadway-Flushing, Queens, New York. The neighborhood immediately around the park, which was created in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century, was initially advertised as "Bowne Park" and is now part of Murray Hill and Broadway-Flushing. Bowne Park was named after New York City mayor Walter Bowne, whose vacation home stood on the site until it was destroyed by fire in March 1925.
